Silo Level 7

Initial view: The launch site’s air compressor system. This unit is used to start the diesel generator on level 3. (It is common for many large diesel engines to be started with compressed air). Compressed air is also used to operate the blast valves, work platform locking pins, plug valves and parts of the ventilation system. To the right of the compressor is the silo elevator.
